HarperCollins, Costa Coffee in Books ‘n’ Beans venture

Costa Coffee and leading publisher HarperCollins India on Thursday announced a tie-up for promoting reading and release of books by bringing coffee and book lovers together. ‘Love Coffee Love Books’ is the first theme launched under this partnership.

Timed to coincide with the upcoming Valentine s Day, the event here was attended by many bestselling authors like Anuja Chauhan, Devapriya Roy, Lavanya Raghunathan, Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan, Mridula Koshy and Ruchita Misra who spoke on the topic ‘Romance Beyond the Fairy Tales’.

As a part of the Books n Bean initiative, Costa Coffee plans to start a Book Club at its cafes, wherein customers can enjoy book reading sessions and interact with authors besides a dedicated book space for coffee lovers to browse through a range of titles. Fans and followers can also attend book launches and interact with their favourite authors during the “Author Meet n Greet Sessions”.

Costa Coffee also launched their international bestselling coffee the Flat White, a speciality coffee based beverage, originally made famous by its success in Australia and New Zealand.
