Gupta slams CM over corruption

Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Vijender Gupta criticised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for adopting a policy of pick and choose in dealing with his ministers embroiled in the cases of corruption.

“Kejriwal is acting more like a <g data-gr-id="15">stunt-man</g> who just wants to be seen fighting corruption rather than actually working towards getting rid of this menace within his party and the government. In today’s meet of MLAs and their families, the tainted ministers such as JitenderTomar, Manoj Kumar, <g data-gr-id="16">Somanath</g> Bharti were invited while Asim Ahmad was kept out of <g data-gr-id="22">it,”said</g> Gupta. He also alleged that Kejriwal is trying to take credit of corruption crusader to douse leg pulling within his party and quell august against his autocratic style. “The entire set up was organised as a face-saving exercise for the Delhi CM who wants to clear his own image in the eyes of the public. The meet was nothing more than a theatrical gimmick on <g data-gr-id="18">corruption,”he</g> added.

He blamed that the rest of the tainted ministers, MLAs in the Delhi government and Aam Aadmi Party functionaries have still not faced any action for their immoral acts.
