Guj govt prepared to tackle any terror threat: Anandiben Patel

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel on Sunday said her government is prepared to tackle any eventuality following intelligence inputs suggested that some terrorists have sneaked into the state taking the sea route.

“With the kind of arrangement made by the state government, and help offered by the Centre, I do not think any untoward incident will take place. I pray there will be no incident in the state or anywhere else in the country,” Patel told reporters on the sidelines of the convocation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University here.

Gujarat Minister of state for Home Rajni Patel said that the state government received a serious information from central government yesterday that terrorists have entered Gujarat. “We held a meeting where it was discussed that all measures will be taken to ensure no untoward incident takes place,” Rajni Patel had said.
