Castle actor Nathan Fillion thinks it is time for popular 1980s comedy-drama series The Greatest American Hero to get a reboot.
Fillion, 44, said he would like to play either Ralph Hinkley or Booster Gold or another DC comic character Ambush Bug on the reboot, reported Aceshowbiz.
“I think I could take a pretty good crack at Booster Gold,” said the Firefly alum at the 2015 Wizard World Comic Con Chicago.
“That’s kind of my niche — show-offy, vain. I think I could handle that — not too bright.” He also offered some alternatives. “I think Ambush Bug. Remember that guy? <g data-gr-id="18">Little</g> bit off his rocker. You’d never see my face,” Filion said, before adding, “But I think ‘Greatest American Hero’ is due for a reboot.”
Fillion has previously appeared in a big superhero movie, “Guardians of the Galaxy”, where he played a monstrous <g data-gr-id="17">prison</g> inmate.
He also has had a tie with DC Comics, having voiced Green Lantern in animated Justice League movies like Doom and Justice League: Throne of Atlantis.
