Greater Noida man commits suicide after killing wife, minor daughters

A man poisoned his wife and two minor daughters before committing suicide by jumping in front of a train in the Dadri area of Greater Noida. In his suicide note, he has blamed his prolonged illness and poverty for the extreme step but locals say he was disturbed due to not having a living son.

Subhash Pal (40) a resident of the Teachers' Colony area in Dadri, served poison-laced food to his wife Anita (34) and daughters, Shalu (12) and Bulbul (8), in the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. According to police, after ensuring that they were dead, he went to the nearby railway tracks and jumped in front of a train to commit suicide. His body was spotted by villagers on Thursday morning.
