Govt to involve pvt domain to check cyber crimes
With 70 per cent increase in cases of cyber attacks, the government has decided to involve private sector domain experts in tackling cyber crime, especially through proactive monitoring and employing forward thinking strategies.
As a first step, the Home Ministry has sought expression of interest from interested organisations or parties who work in cyber crime and security domain for participation in special presentations organised on April 12 and 19.
“We would like companies to make a presentation to showcase their expertise in the areas of cyber crime and cyber security primarily related but not limited to women and child protection,” a Home Ministry official said.
Interested companies can make presentation on forward thinking strategies to handle cyber threats and capability in proactive monitoring of cyber space to prevent crimes against women and children.
Each company will be given a 45-minute slot to make the presentation.
