Govt announces free travel in govt buses and trams for journalists

There is good news for scribes! The state government has announced a new scheme on Thursday allowing the journalists for free travel in all government buses and trams. 

The Information and Cultural Affairs Department in the state issued a notification saying that all the accredited journalists in the state will be eligible for free travel in all the government owned buses and trams. 

It has been learnt that the Governor has already approved the government’s proposal and thereby extending facilities for free travel in the buses and trams for journalists. 

The scribes can avail the facilities in buses and trams that travel in the city and also in long distance buses operated by the public sector undertaking. 

The journalists who have to travel to various places to do their jobs will be immensely benefitted through this new scheme.
