Government declares holiday for Shivratri puja

The State government has declared holiday on March 7 for Shivratri. This is the first time when the State government has declared a restricted holiday for the occasion. A notification in this regard has been issued on Tuesday. It may be mentioned that holiday for half day was declared on Saraswati Puja. The decision to give holiday on March 7 will lead to a two-day long consecutive holiday for the State government employees. Again there will be leave almost for four consecutive days in the third week of March because of Dol, Holi, Good Friday, fourth Saturday and Sunday. The State government employees were found happy with the decision of the government. Mainly the women employees those remain busy on that day to perform Puja have appreciated the move of the State government.
