Going Moroccan!

Vineet Bahl’s The Royal Mansour started well, keeping with the theme of the season but morphed to bridalwear towards the end. He used a Moroccan embroidery technique called ‘couching’.  The colour palette varied between ivories, golds with neon accents. Sheer played a big role in the ensembles. We loved how every piece was beautifully coordinated with the vintage lace chudidar. That apart, there were patch lace tops with sheer net mini skirts, gheredaar dresses, tunics, jersey dresses, embroidered skirts, handloom kurtas, ghagras, naqshi kalidaar kurtas among others.
