Goel sends money orders to Manmohan, Sonia

The city Bharatiya Janata Party chief Vijay Goel has sent money orders worth Rs 33 each to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi,
Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit and deputy chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia challenging them to spend one day with that amount.

‘These leaders should try and spend a single day on Rs 33 if that is what is the benchmark for poverty line,’ Goel said.
Dismissing the Planning Commission’s claim, Goel said that government has adopted not only flawed but unrealistic formula to calculate the daily survival needs of an individual.
‘It is yet another cruel joke by this insensitive government, he added.
