Goa police file charge-sheet against BJP MLA, 2 others

The Goa crime branch on Friday filed chargesheet against BJP legislator Michael Lobo and two others in connections with violation of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) rules to build a hotel at the famous Baga beach in North Goa.

The chargesheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class at Mapusa in which Lobo and two of his partners in the hotel project at Baga beach are accused.

Crime branch claimed that Lobo had forged the No Objection Certificate (NOC) obtained from Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) for the project.
