The exhibition which will continue till 4 November is an assortment of drawings and paintings by a diverse group of artists ranging in style, form and expression. The artworks in the show are presented in postcard format which attempts at redefining the boundaries of conventional painting formats. The concept of this art show is to make acquisition of original art more accessible to all those who wish to acquire, own, collect and gift art. The organisation through this show is aiming at promoting new and young collectors as well as emerging art enthusiasts so that they can experience, appreciate and acquire works of contemporary artists. There are around 40 artists participating in the show, some of them are include Amitava Das, Anjum Khan, Aradhna Tandon, Charanjeet Singh, Dattatrya Apte, Devangi Sidharth, Eleena Banik, GR Iranna, Gogi Saroj Pal, Gopi Gajwani and Govinda Sarkar.

Explaining the basic idea behind such an art show, Anchal Schinde, curator, Arts and Aesthetics said, ‘I think art doesn’t get much attention by the youngsters as it should. Our aim is to cultivate an interest in the young spectators to collect the original pieces of art. In my experience of fifteen years, I have mainly seen the foreigners showing interest and desire in acquiring or appreciating artworks. I want to promote a culture to encourage art collection and this is a start.’

Anchal also said that the art pieces in the show are fairly economical ranging from Rs 5000 to Rs. 50,000 and the artworks consists of vibrant watercolours, drawings and mix media paintings which will induce the spectators to take a delight in owning an original.
