'It is one of the endeavours for AEPCs export promotion initiatives for the year 2012-13 wherein we are hopeful that the apparel exporters will generate good business deals with buyers from different countries,' AEPC chairman A Sakthivel said.

Over 100 exhibitors from countries like Australia, South Africa, Greece and the US are participating in the event that started on Monday.

Some of the leading buying agents like UCB, Numero Uno, Reebok, are also present, he said.
