Girls outshine boys in Class X CBSE exams

City girls have yet again outshone boys in Class X board examinations conducted by CBSE. The results were declared on Tuesday. The pass percentage in?Delhi stood at 98.31 per cent, a minimal decline from last year’s figures (98.40 per cent).

While the pass percentage for girls was 98.81 per cent, their male counterparts stood at 97.88 per cent, a marginal decline from last year’s results (98.11 per cent).

Delhi has seen a decline in total number of students enrolled for class 10 exams. This year 3,17,534 students registered for board exams, while 3,34,906 kids registered last year. Out of 13.27 lakh students, 7,994 managed to score a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 10.
