Gina feared health would ruin her dream

 The 31-year-old star was concerned that her condition would lead to rejection when she went to auditions because she found it difficult to stay in the comfortable zone with her weight, reported Female First.

“It began when I was 19 years old and I got fired, and I realised keeping my weight down was going to be much more difficult. I was like, OK, I want to be an actor. I want to be a leading lady. But now I am being told there is no way I can because they are way skinnier, which was very destructive to me because I felt like I was getting curvy,” she said.

The Bold and the Beautiful star later, however, decided she would not let stereotypes stand in her way and vowed to make negative attitudes change.
