Ghosal through to squash semi-finals

India’s top professional Saurav Ghosal recorded one of the biggest wins of his career, beating top seed and home favourite Miguel Rodriguez of Colombia in a five-game semi-final thriller, here in the Albierto Colombiano squash tournament.

The Indian led by two games and then saw that advantage nullified by the World No.4. In the deciding fifth game, Ghosal was down 7-10, but staged a dramatic recovery as he reeled away five points in a row for a sensational win in 101 minutes.“I am delighted to have won today. I guess it required a special match and performance tobeat Miguel”, he said.
