Ggn concert death: Case filed against organisers

A 23-year-old resident of Delhi lost consciousness and died on her way to the hospital. However, her family believed that a more proactive medical attention could have helped prevent their daughter’s death.

Sources revealed that the girl’s father visited Sector 29 police station on Friday and gave a complaint against the organisers stating that the deceased was not provided timely medical aid else the tragedy could have been averted.

On the other hand, officials from the banner company Viacom have said all security measures were taken and adequate arrangements were made to handle any such incident. “While most of the tickets were bought online, we made it clear in our terms and conditions that only those above 25 years of age will be allowed. For the same, with every ticket, we give a Legal Drinking Age band so that in the drinks counter we know to whom liquor is being served. This is an unfortunate incident,” said an official from Viacom. The official also claimed that a fire brigade, ambulance, medical room and medical practitioners were stationed at the venue.
