Gautam Kundu bangs head against jail bars

Rose Valley group of companies chairman Gautam Kundu on Monday banged his head against the jail bars claiming that he would return the money of depositors after selling away his property which were attached by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Kundu also threatened to commit suicide. 

According to police, Kundu has deep scars on his forehead but his health condition is stable. Kundu also refused when police tried to take him to hospital. Kundu claimed he could not return the money to depositors as CBI, ED and four other federal agencies have attached all his property. 

He said his whole property worth around Rs 11,000 crore. So he could easily repay the debt which is around Rs 3,000 crore. Kundu threatened ED that he would commit suicide if they fail to repay his debt by selling out his attached property within three months.       
    
The ED, under the stringent provisions of the PMLA, had earlier attached 2,631 bank accounts of the Rose Valley group containing Rs. 295 crore.
