This Saturday, (8 November), Rumbar will be playing host to the Congolese musical talent – Solo Indien. His passionate vocals tamed by his soulful guitar melodies, as he takes you on a roller coaster ride across tempo and temperament across an electric range of genres from Soukousse, blues, afrosia, rumba, reggae, indies and folk. Apart from Indian artists, Solo Indien has also collaborated with artists from UK, France, Congo and even America. Apart from Delhi, he has performed live at the Ragasthan music festival Jaisalmer and more recently in Bangalore as well.

Rumbar is the new venue to watch out for numerous live gigs which bring you Latin, African, Reggae, Blues, and Jazz beats with a dedicated bar space that is a celebration of groovy music and dance. The bar area will host a melange of musical events varying from Indian to international artists.

Music has been the ambition and passion for Jehu Mulobo Mandjoko aka Solo Indien who uses it to express his feelings. Since his childhood, he has been sharing his feelings with his voice and melodies. Now as Solo Indien, Jehu has been regularly captivating audiences as a guitarist and vocalist all over the world. His music demonstrates a range of shades and temperaments. The sound builds down to acoustic simplicity, which draws influences from an eclectic range of genres from Soukousse, blues, Afrosia, rumba, reggae, indie and folk. He is one artist who takes full liberty of having music to freely alter the tempo and temperament of his live performances.

Jehu Mulobohas has played with many different musicians across the world as like Tritha Sinha(India/kolkata), Reggae Rajahs (India/New Delhi), Stefan Kaye (UK), Nikhil vasudevan (India), Space (India/paris), Chalo Africa (Congo), NeuroneMusik (Congo/kinshasa), N.Dom.Bolo (India/Delhi), Schoot Moses (America/california).

He has also participated in some of festival as known in Ragasthan festival November 2012 in India, and in the Pencil Fest 2013 (Creative Art and Animation Exhibition) in Arena Animation Academic, South Extension.
