Funnyman Razak Khan expires
The 62-year-old actor had suffered a cardiac arrest. Khan is known for his roles in movies like Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Phir Hera Pheri and Partner.
According to sources, the comedian was brought to Holy Family hospital in Bandra, where doctors declared him brought dead. Following the death of producer Vikas Mohan a day before, the film fraternity expressed their condolences to the great actor through Twitter posts.
“Vikas Mohan yesterday , Razzak Khan today... We are losing a lot of good people. Hope the families find strength in these times,” tweeted director Anurag Kashyap.
“Funny man Razak Khan has also passed away. May his soul rest in peace,” wrote Arshad Warsi. “Sad to hear about passing away of Razzak Khan. His finest performance in Dubai Return with @irrfan_k unfortunately remains in the cans,” tweeted film maker Hansal Mehta.
Director, producer Satish Kaushik wrote, “Shocked to hear about sudden demise of Razzak Khan bhai. He made his debut in my first film http://RKRCKR.RIP ..." (Roop ki Rani Choron ka Raja)
His funeral will be held in Mumbai on Thursday evening.
