The minimum temperature in the capital touched 2.7 degree Celsius on Friday, breaking three years’ record of the coldest night in the city. In the entire NCR region, Gurgaon recorded the lowest minimum temperature–0.7 degree Celsius–followed by 1.7 degree Celsius in Faridabad.

‘The minimum temperature of the city on Friday was recorded 2.7 degree Celsius, the lowest of the winter season, which was four points below normal. The maximum temperature was 15.7 degree Celsius, which was five notches below normal,’ said a Met official.
