Freedom fighters felicitated at Raj Niwas by Jung to commemorate 70th Independence year

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Tuesday felicitated freedom fighters of Delhi on the occasion of a celebratory function — ‘Azadi 70 — Yaad Karo Qurbani’, organised to celebrate 70th year of India’s Independence.

On the occasion, the freedom fighters recalled their days during the freedom struggle and sang patriotic songs. While felicitating the freedom fighters, Jung recalled the supreme sacrifice made by them in delivering our much cherished freedom to us. “Our freedom is the fruit of supreme sacrifices made by our great martyrs,” Jung said.
