Four injured in bomb attack

Four members of a family including a child were injured after some unidentified miscreants hurled bombs on the tiles made roof top of their house at Ranigunge in Asansol on Sunday night, police said. 

Police are yet to arrest anyone in this connection. The victims with critical burn injuries have been undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. 

Police said that a little after 12 am some miscreants hurled bombs on the roof top injuring three women and a child who were sleeping inside the room. The roof made of tiles was completely damaged in the incident. The local people heard explosions repeated times and rushed to the spot. 

They found that the family members sustained splinter injuries. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital. After getting information, police reached the spot and started an enquiry. They are yet to ascertain the motive behind the attack. According to the preliminary investigation, police came to know that the family had a quarrel with some of their relatives.
