Forgot something in Metro? Call DMRC to enquire

Starting Friday, commuters of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) can check about their missing belongings by calling on a dedicated mobile number. DMRC has said that commuters can call on 8527405555 to enquire about stuff they might have lost in the trains or on the Metro stations.
The inquiries on this number can be made from 10 am to 5 pm daily except Sunday, DMRC spokesperson said.

Besides this number, the Lost and Found Office at Kashmere Gate Metro station already has a landline number 011-23860837, on which passengers have already been enquiring about their lost items.
DMRC displays the list of all lost and found articles on its website ‘www.delhimetrorail.com’ on daily basis under ‘Lost & Found’ section of the website.

The bonafide claimant(s) of such items can approach the respective Metro stations as shown in the list within 24 hours of its display on the website to claim the item. However, if the passengers who are not able to reclaim their item within 24 hours from the station may then approach the centralized ‘Lost and Found’ office at Kashmere Gate Metro station.

According to the practice, DMRC sends all items found in Metro stations to Kashmere Gate office after every 24 hours. Thereafter, they are kept in this office till bonafide claimants reclaim them, the release added.
