Fog on Yamuna Expressway leads to 30-vehicle pile-up

Dozens of people were injured when nearly 30 vehicles rammed into one another on the Yamuna Expressway as visibility was reduced to zero following dense fog on Tuesday morning, police said. Thick fog enveloped the expressway near Naujheel in Mathura district in the morning, leading to the accidents between 7 am and 8 am. The injured were taken to hospital. K C Jain of Agra, a passenger whose vehicle was also hit, said ambulances and cranes reached the site only after an hour.
