Flat owners observe protest over delayed delivery

Hundreds of flat buyers of the Gardenia Glory project at GH-01, sector-46, Noida, staged a protest, followed by a candle light march on Saturday evening against the delayed delivery of flats. The project is being constructed by M/S Gardenia Aims Builders Pvt Ltd. The protest was also aimed at the lackluster attitude of the Noida Authority, which has done nothing to press the builder into paying the land cost, ever since the project launch five years back. The buyers alleged that the project, which was launched in 2009, was sold to them in the same year with a promise by the builder that the possession will be handed over by July 2012 and October 2012 in two phases. However it has been more than five years now and the construction is far from completion.
