Five-month-old girl found dead near Gurgaon

The body of the child was found in a field in Sancholi village near Millenium City.

"The body of the child was found under crop stubble and it seems to have been dumped at least 3 days back," police officer Nasir told IANS. 

The body has been sent for an autopsy.

Police have registered an FIR on the complaint of Sancholi resident Shyam Sunder, who spotted the body and informed the police.

On Thursday, a newborn girl was found abandoned in an upscale Ardee City society of Gurgaon.

Prime Minister Modi had recently hailed the people of Haryana for supporting 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' mission in the state.
