Five killed as train rams car in Kerala

In an accident at an unmanned level crossing near here, the Hapa Express bound for Tirunelveli rammed into a car, leaving five dead and one seriously injured. The accident occurred Sunday evening. Among the dead is a three-year-old child. Local legislator A M Arif said that people had earlier demanded that the level crossing be better monitored, but the demands had fallen on deaf ears.
