Federer, Wawrinka to lead Switzerland

Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka will lead Switzerland’s bid for its first Davis Cup title against host France this month. Switzerland captain Severin Luethi retained the four-man team which beat Italy in the semifinals: second-ranked Federer, Australian Open champion Wawrinka, Marco Chiudinelli and Michael Lammer. Federer and Wawrinka will prepare for the Nov. 21-23 final in Lille by playing the ATP finals in London on indoor hard courts. France picked a clay surface to play on under a retractable roof at the 27,000-capacity Pierre Mauroy Stadium. France captain Arnaud Clement has not finalized his selection but he chose Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gael Monfils, Gilles Simon and Richard Gasquet, all residents of Switzerland, for a training camp in Bordeaux.
