Sampurna: Celebrating womanhood

Baghajatin Tarun Sangha in association with Millennium Post organised 'Sampurna', in the honour of women members of the club. The occassion was graced by Debjani Mukherjee, Founder of Nanigharapp; Vikash Kumar Singh, Entrepreneur and Educationist; Shukla Mukhopadhyay, Advisor, Zee Bangla Rannaghor; and ManjimaSaha, Designer and Director of Saha Textiles as the Chief Guests.

The afternoon witnessed a platter full of entertainment such as cooking competition on the variety of dishes in Soyabean, like soya curry, malaikofta, soya korma, soya kheer, soya veg rezala, soya kathi kebab, soya cutlet, soya halwa, soya khichdi, to name a few.

A talent round and ramp walk by the kids and ladies of the club were the special highlight, where participants ranged from 6 to 60 years old.

Sampurna was awarded to Debkona Das, Nandita Das, Sangita Sarkar, Lily Chakraborty, Soumi Das. And special Sampurna award was given to Soma Sengupta.

Best ramp walk title was awarded to Soma Sengupta, Anisha Chakraborty, Mousumi Sarkar, Dola Chakraborty, Minati Halder, Dipannita Ghosh.

Whereas, best cooking award went to Champa Das, Lipika Roy, Lipi Sinha, Rima Ghosh, Dipa Ghosh, Lipika Acharya.

The award of best smile was hared by Soma Sengupta, Jaya Ghosh, Nandita Halder, Barnali Chowdhury. And, best personality was awarded to Jui Dutta, Mitra Chowdhury, Supta Ghosh, Deblina Ghosh, Sraboni Debnath.

"Women have special ability to do anything in the world, and this is the best occasion to celebrate womanhood while we welcome Ma Durga with a grandeur," said Shukla Mukhopadhyay, Advisor, Zee Bangla Rannaghor.
