Poetry fest Jashn-e-Adab is back

Poetry festival 'Jashn-e-Adab' is back in the capital with its ninth edition form March 20 to 22 at India International Centre (IIC), Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

The festival celebrates the rich cultural

heritage of India with an array of performances by internationally acclaimed Indian artistes from the field of poetry, music, dance, theatre and literature.

Curated programmes of mushaira, kavi sammelan, dastangoi, qawwali, ghazal, classical dance performance, sufi singing, art gallery and book exhibition will be held at the 9th edition of the Jashn-e-Adab festival.

Many prominent personalities from the diffrent fields will be participating in teh event include Padma Bhushan Sharda Sinha (folk singer); Padmashri Professor Ashok Chakradhar (poet); Rahat Indori (shayar and lyricist); Saurabh Shukla (Bollywood actor); Quaiser Khalid IPS (Inspector General of Police, Maharashtra); Abhigyan Prakash (journalist); Kumud Mishra (Bollywood actor); Yashpal Sharma (Bollywood actor and theatre artiste);

Rajpal Yadav (Bollywood actor); Sufi Brothers – Hamsar Hayat Nizami and Athar Hayat Nizami; Vidha Lal (notable Kathak dancer); RJ Raunac; RJ Naved; Irshad Kamil (poet and lyricist) and Ranjeet Chauhan (Founder of Jashn-e-Adab and renowned shayar).
