MP Tourism launches mobile app for travelers

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) has successfully launched Runcation Mobile App on both Android and iOS platforms. MPTB has been a pioneer in introducing and supporting new ideas for promotion of tourism in the state.

The mobile app will provide information to tourists about various destinations in Madhya Pradesh, besides helping them discover interesting facts about the place, book accommodation before travel and much more.

Tourists can explore destinations on the app through innovative technologies such as 3600 photos and quizzes.

Also, GPS based treasure hunts available on the app, are an engaging feature.

Currently 7 destinations – Bhopal, Khajuraho, Gwalior, Mandu, Orchha, Pachmarhi, Pench are live on the mobile aplication and more destinations will be added soon.

Madhya Pradesh offers an assortment of attractions to everyone who loves to travel. It is the state with the forest area cover of 77,700 sq kms filled with Sal Trees and Bamboos.

It has numerous wildlife hotspots with 11 National parks and 24 Wildlife sanctuaries such as Satpura Wildlife Sanctuary and Chambal Ghadiyal Sanctuary.

The UNESCO world heritage sites of Khajuraho, Bhimbetka and Sanchi are the iconic sites in Madhya Pradesh.

The state has re-gained tag of 'Tiger State of the Country' by having maximum tiger count (526). Since more than four decades, Madhya Pradesh Tourism is facilitating high standard travel services for travellers visiting Central India for Tourism. is an important state of Central India with an enormous scope for tourism.
