Mark your calendar for city's biggest folk festival

The three–day gala festival will be held from December 7 – 9, at Kamani Auditorium

The city of New Delhi is set to host the 5th International Folk Dance and Music Festival at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi from December 7 – 9. The three–day gala festival, to be organised by Indian Council for Culture Relations, will witness the convergence of top folk dance and music artists from countries such as Iran, Korea, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Russia. The festival will be inaugurated by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President ICCR and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha.

The event has always been a gala event, attended by thousands of visitors/ audiences every year. This year, over a hundred artists from 7 countries will be presenting their special folk dances, traditional music, and traditional costumes. This festival is a part of ICCR's initiative to foster global cultural pluralism by facilitating cultural exchange between national and international artists participating in the festival and is a perfect gateway for folk dance and music aficionados to experience live dance & music.
