KISS Sets Another World Record

As many as 26,382 tribal students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) gathered to create another Guinness World Record and promote oral hygiene through brushing their teeth simultaneously, on November 7.Facilitated by Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS), the event was organised in partnership with Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry (IAPHD) and Colgate Palmolive India Limited. Sudam Marndi, Minister, Revenue & Disaster Management, Govt of Odisha; Raghunandan Das, Minister of State (Ind.) for Water Resources, Information and Public Relations (I & PR); Rishi Nath, Representative, Guinness World Records; Ram Raghaban, Managing Director, Colgate Palmolive (India); Sabyasachi Saha, General Secretary, Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry; Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS; R N Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS; Dr P K Routray, CEO, KISS; and officials from Guinness World Records were present to witness the colourful event
