Taking some recent examples of lack of security in school premises and route to school in consideration, parents are now, more than ever, concerned about the safety of their kids. And this issue has become a key concern for all the authorities as parents are not opting for any school without proper security measures.

This is where SkoolSmart – an automated RFID based smart student tracking solution from home to school and vice-versa steps in. This web based application is a boon for parents who worry about the safety of their kids in transit; where the students need to travel long distances to go to school.

Skoolsmart, with its unique technology provides real time alerts via SMS to parents/administration whenever there is any unusual swiping through any gate on the campus. The RFID Card doubles up as their ID card and the students just wear the card and the technology does the rest.

With smart video recording and optional smart live view facility, one can track the movements of a student at any given time – while traversing between home and school, on the bus or at the school; Skoolsmart triggers an alert to parents about their kids' slightest movement.The solution is for both bus and non-bus users.

The solution is designed to cover the school administration including the principal who gets automatic attendance of all students in various formats of their choice, video recording on bus and live view of the bus for the administration. The parents get timely daily alerts about the transport department; giving the single view of the buses on road in the web application.

The application contains all kinds of reports like distance travelled by the bus in each trip, the driver's behaviour by monitoring the over-speed situations. One can also know the names and number of students travelling in each trip automatically without resorting to any manual attendance or counting.

This solution addresses all students from Pre-KG till Class 12th and is a smart solution for K-12 schools.

Mobile App: An IOS and Android based Skoolsmart mobile app is available on GooglePlay which not only gives notification alerts but also can track the bus in realtime.

Child tracking within the campus: SkoolSmart also covers the interior of schools and can track children within the campus and defined zones by the school administration whereby the appropriate alerts, movements and length of time spent by kids can be monitored by the school administration. This helps to cover areas which are not reachable by the existing CCTV/Monitors.

Panic Button: There are also other optional features like Panic Button, which alerts the respective contacts and flashes on the web portal of the location and co-ordinates of the bus in case of emergencies.
