IHE ends in Delhi

India International Hospitality Expo (IHE), which was recently held at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida became the most powerful networking forum by witnessing an astounding line up of trade discussions, knowledge sessions, master classes, awards night and more.

This year, the event hosted more than 650 exhibitors from all over the world into the broad categories like Food & Kitchen Equipment; Furnishing, Lifestyle & Décor; to name a few Global brands also launched their latest products as part of the IHE platform.

People like Chef Manjit Gill, President IFCA; Chef Devender Kumar, President, ICF; Hari Dadoo, Fair President; and others contributed immensely for making IHE a bigger and successful event.

With support from top industry bodies like Indian Angel Network HOTREMAI, ARCHII, PPFI, FSAI, ICF, IFCA, and FSSAI, and others, the show saw a new culinary height this year.

IHE had a robust conference programme with top hospitality professionals as speakers, a series of Masterclasses by world-renowned chefs from India and abroad, wine sommelier training by a renowned Italian sommelier Luca Carmignani; a hospitality-inspired fashion show and an FSSAI conclave on Food Safety – IHE' 19. Besides, a host of competitions in the food arena were also a part of the event.

World recognised CEO's, GM's and executive chefs of restaurants and hotel chain owners made for stellar panelists for conducting various knowledge sessions.

This year the expo emphasised on Himachal Pradesh being the 'Focus State' with several events being organised by the Tourism Department of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and Himachal Tourism Development Corporation. International countries like Vietnam, Indonesia, Peru, El Salvador, Ecuador, and others supported the expo by displaying an array of products and services from their region.

Rakesh Kumar, Chairman IEML and Director-General EPCH said, "IHE 2019 concluded on a very satisfactory note. We had over 22,000 visitors from all parts of the country. We are thrilled to see the response from overseas."

Seeing this success and interest among the visitors, the next edition will take place from August 5 – 8, 2020, he informed.

Hari Dadoo, President of the fair, said, "This edition of IHE was much more successful than last year. We plan to make the next edition much bigger and better."
