'Go green day' celebrations

As seven day Rath Yatra festival comes to an end, Sister Nivedita University and all the Institutes of Techno India Group across the state celebrated 'Go Green day' by planting trees in their premises. The event took place simultaneously in all the institutions starting at 12:00 noon. It was inaugurated by guest of honour Raju Das, IFS Chief Conservator of Forests, Conservation & Extension West Bengal, CEO, West Bengal Eco Tourism Board, Managing Director, West Bengal Wasteland Development Corporation Limited. Also present on the occasion were Founder and MD, Techno India Group and Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University, Satyam Roychowdhury; Vice Chancellor, Prof Ashoke Ranjan Thakur, Director of Techno India Group, Atanu Kumar Raha along with other dignitaries and staff members
