Four-day event to promote hospitality sector begins

A four-day mega congregation of hospitality, retail, baking, housekeeping, F&B industry, which was announced as the biggest hospitality show in Asia, was recently inaugurated by Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Union Cabinet Minister of Food Processing industry, Govt. Of India in the presence of Amit Burman, Vice Chairman, Dabur India Ltd and Chairman Litebite Foods Pvt Ltd.

Scheduled from August 8 till 11, the expo will take place at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida Expressway. With over 200 exhibitors and over 8,000 visitors, this show is the first chapter of country's largest and most comprehensive sourcing hub for the hospitality, retail, baking, housekeeping, and F&B industry. Further, it has been built on a grand vision to become the biggest hospitality show in Asia.

The event will also see a fashion show curated by Sunil Sethi Design Alliance and food menu by Chef Manjit Gill in Banaras Evening. Also, different sessions of culinary theatre by celebrity chefs such as Devinder Kumar, Gunjan Goela, Gautam Chaudhary, Nishant Kumar Chobey and others will be organised throughout.

Speaking on the occasion, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Minister of Food Processing Industries, Government of India said, "I am glad to know that for promoting India's hospitality sector and to provide an opportunity for the new, young and budding entrepreneurs, a show like India International Hospitality Expo is being organised.

IEML – a state of art venue for holding exhibitions of international stature - has been host to several global events successfully. And IHE 18 being held at this very venue will be an excellent platform for showcasing art, innovation, skills, and capability in the food processing segments as well as industries involved in manufacturing hospitality products.
