1. Watch your shampooing habits- Ideally, it is advised to shampoo your hair not more than twice a week. A good shampoo goes a long way, so invest in that, according to your hair type. Frizzy hair is the most common sight during the monsoon, try and keep your scalp dry, instead of letting the rain

2. Go the old school way, get a hair oil massage- It definitely helps, as it naturally boosts the moisture in your hair and revives your tresses. Other than that, it offers deep conditioning as well. Coconut oil, Amla oil, Almond oil are the most preferred oils available in the market.

3. Eat right, Sleep tight- In order to strengthen your hair follicles, you must eat foods that are rich in protein, iron and omega 3 fatty acids. Salmon, walnuts, spinach, egg, yoghurt are some of the best sources of the required nutrition. However, sleeplessness also contributes to the brittleness visible in your hair. So, try and go early to bed to get a good 6-7 hours of required sleep.

4. Choose natural ways- Hair masks never go out of style, other than oiling your hair once a week, go for a number of natural options available. Good thing, the ingredients will probably be readily available in your kitchen! Try an egg and yoghurt mask for your hair to get lustrous strands in no time!

5. Go for regular trimmings- This not only would keep your hair manageable but also will help you get rid of the split ends, you keep getting from time to time. Also, it promotes growth.
