Encapsulating Life on Canvas

Tree is a popular and universal symbol that represents different things across various cultures and religions and primarily symbolises the generations of existence. The symbol does not belong to one specific culture as it has been used all over the world for centuries. Though, it would be overwhelming to explain its significance to each culture, Sujan Biswas has over arching themes and meanings that span across many people through his paintings. In the exhibition titled 'Encapsulating Life on the Canvas', Biswas will convey the deep connection of tree with the life around and the dependency on it for the ability to grow and thrive. By observing trees with the soulful vision, he sees into a deeper world of wonder, perfection, and unfathomable wisdom. Living by in sync with nature makes a big impact on the world within and around us. The exhibition will be held from November 13 – 19, at Lalit Kala Akademi.
