Dr Yatish Agarwal gets Hindi Academy Award

Dr Yatish Agarwal, Dean – University School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences of IP University has been conferred with the coveted Hindi Academy Award for the year 2019 – 20 for his outstanding contribution in the field of knowledge, science and technology. The award was given by the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia.

Dr Agarwal is deemed as pioneer in the field of popularising the concept of public health worldwide. Recipient of numerous prestigious national and international awards in various capacities as an academician, researcher, author, editor and science communicator; he is author of 48 popular health and medical science books, which have sold more than two million copies and have been translated into a number of languages. He is author of a number of chapters on health science in school text books, produced developmental films, television shows and radio features. He is a regular columnist for national dailies on health issues.
