Celebration of Science

UK has participated in the 4-day India International Science Festival 2019, being held in Kolkata from November 5 – 8, 2019. John Loughhead, Chief Scientific Advisor, Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), UK Government, addressed the 'Overseas Science and Technology Ministers and Diplomats' Conclave' on the inauguration day. Also present on the occasion was Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, along with other Cabinet Ministers, dignitaries, scientists, academicians and government officials.
