The lobby at The Imperial will be decked with an installation of the colourful forest of Christmas with multi-hued trees hanging from the ceiling adding to the scarlet and green zest. A gingerbread house put together by the Pastry team celebrates the yuletide spirit.
Christmas eve and Christmas day will be spearheaded by Executive Chef Prem Kumar Pogakula, with a Christmas treat. A plethora of packages with extensive menus have been unveil a Christmas eve dinner buffet at the historic 1911 Restaurant (all day dining restaurant) from 6:30 pm to 11:45 pm. In English style roast turkey, brussel sprouts, pork loin in a blanket, bread stuffing, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce on the Western Roast station will rub shoulders with a selection of international cuisine like Shepherd's pie, Grilled chicken, celeriac, blue cheese crumble with hot and exquisite Asian spread namely 'Kung krapao' – Prawns tossed with Thai sweet basil, Silken tofu, bell peppers, Chinese cabbage, hot garlic sauce along with Seafood, Indian, Tandoori favourites and Italian specials, salads, desserts and cold cuts. The extensive feast will leave you asking for more.
1911 Restaurant will feature a lavish Christmas Brunch on December 25. You can fill yourself to the gills, with Roasted Lamb, traditional roasted turkey along with global cuisine like Basil pesto marinated chicken, couscous stuffed tomatoes, grilled artichokes, Ricotta and spinach spanakopita, spiced tomato chutney, Smoked salmon and many more tempting offerings. An indulgent array of desserts like Spiced apple mousse, Traditional plum cake and Plum pudding with brandy anglaise put together with classic wines, make sure you celebrate the occasion delectably.
The last two days of 2017 will present an epicurean journey-discover the legends of Italy, India and South-East Asia at each of these restaurants for a gala New Year's eve dinner on December 31. 1911 offers a sumptuous New Year Eve dinner buffet with a selection of fine delicacies like Seared yellow fin tuna nicoise with quail eggs, Tenderloin picattas amongst other succulent delights.
Relish Tuscan scents and delectable Italian fare at San Gimignano on New Year's eve, featuring risotto alla parmigiana e pesto di ovlie nera – parmesan cheese risotto cooked with sun dried tomatoes and topped with black olive pesto, manzo alla griglia e gorgonzola dolce, con spinaci all'aglio e burro e carciofi croccanti-grilled sliced tenderloin with sautéed butter spinach, sweet gorgonzola sauce and fried artichoke amongst other niceties.
The Spice Route will embrace epicureans with South East Asian delights for New Year by Chef Veena Arora with specialties like 'Por Pia Phong Curry' – Thai spring rolls stuffed with mince Chicken flavoured with Thai curry powder; 'Pla Thord Krob' – Crispy Sole fillet wok fried with garlic, white pepper and fresh cilantro; 'Yera Arvat Anjj' – Tiger Prawns deep fried and flavoured with Kerala spices.
