Arts Acre to host 4th Art Haat in December

Arts Acre Foundation announced dates of the 4th edition of Annual Art Fair and Festival – Art Haat 2019, to be hosted this year in association with Emami Art. This art extravaganza would be held at the Arts Acre Museum of Bengal Modern Art and International Centre for Creativity and Cultural Vision from December 6 – 9, 2019.

Distinguished personalities like Bibhas Chakraborty and Shuvaprasanna were present at the announcement. An interesting art ensemble titled 'Paper' was the highlight of the Haat which is a show of seven contemporary artists.

The concept of 'Paper' is to provide a platform to the new generation artists and their works and to showcase their creations.

"The 4th edition of Art Haat, like the previous years, will focus on seven new generation artists and their creations. This year we are constructing more than 60 aesthetically designed stalls within our spacious campus where individual artists or groups and organisations will display artworks, handicrafts, handlooms, etc and make them available for people to acquire them at a very affordable price. Our motto is to bring art closer to the mass", said Shuvaprasanna.

Every evening during the fair, various cultural programs featuring folk music, folk dance, contemporary dance, band music, etc. will be performed. Food stalls from well-known food joints will serve mouth-watering delicacies during the Haat.
