Arindam Sil's next film: An Indo-Bangladesh venture

Bengal Creations and Nothing Beyond Cinema, from Bangladesh and India, respectively, are jointly producing Balighawr, a film based on Suchitra Bhattacharya's story 'Dheu Ashe Dheu Jai', to be presented by Abul Khair and Arindam Sil.
For the first time in the history of joint-venture film productions in the country, two of the biggest names of Indian and Bangladeshi music – Bickram Ghosh from India and Chirkutt from Bangladesh – are joining hands to compose and collaborate.
Comprising of a multi-star cast Balighawr's actors include Abir Chatterjee, Rahul Banerjee, Anirban Bhattacharya and Parno Mitra from India and Arifin Shuvo, Nusrat Imroze Tisha and Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed from Bangladesh.
The film will be directed by Arindam Sil, with Samik Halder on board as the cinematographer. Shooting will begin on March 21 2018, and is set to be held in Kolkata, Santiniketan, Dhaka, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar after joint venture permissions are in place in both the countries.
A press meet was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka, on January 20 where the cast and producers were present.
