The highlights of the event were well-etched out choreographies, Radha Krishna Leela, Trilokarakshini and Maa Saraswati Vandana along with traditional Kuchipudi items like Ganapati Vandana, Jatiswaram, Tarangam and Manduka Sabdam.

The efforts undertaken by Thakur to propagate Kuchipudi dance among non-Telugu speaking learners were evident as the dancers were skilful, artistic and exuberant, excelling in all the traditional Kuchipudi items.

While performing Tarangam, the display of intricate footwork on a brass plate by Thakur's senior disciples, left the audience spell-bound. The pulsating performance, choreographed by Thakur with excellent backstage narration by Supriti Sethi, lasted for more than an hour.

The occasion was graced by Commando Surender Singh, MLA, Dr Jeetram Bhatt, Secretary, Hindi Academy, and eminent Gurus, Nalini-Kamalini and Krishan Kumar Sharma, who honoured Thakur and her disciples.
