A tribute to the spirit of leadership

Acclaimed art curator Erum Khan is all set to pay a tribute to the spirit of leadership through her upcoming exhibition 'The Leader.' The exhibition, which will be inaugurated on July 20, 5 pm, at Artizen Art Gallery, will go on until July 22.

Explaining the idea behind this exhibition, Erum says, A leader is a trendsetter, a pioneer, a role model who in the pursuit of excellence and commitment to a cause, rises to the occasion and inspires people by setting an example, braving all obstacles and hurdles. The history of art has many such illustrious and shining beacons, however, it is true that many received only posthumous recognition and many remained unrecognized and unsung.

It is Erum Khan's mission as a curator to provide a platform – with due exposure, fame, and recognition to such leaders in fine arts - lest their talents be ignored in the mainstream discourse. Herself, a trailblazer in her role as an art curator, with as many as 16 hugely successful exhibitions in 14 months, there is no better tribute that art leaders can get with her upcoming exhibition.
