A new beginning

'Crust Core', a training unit with a unique concept of socially reintegrating people who have been homeless and psychosocially disabled, was launched by Iswar Sankalpa on February 21.
This initiative marked a new beginning for these unfortunate souls who can now develop new skills like baking, cooking, serving, cleaning, inventory keeping etc to maintain a sustainable livelihood, community bonding via interactions and thereby rejuvenating their identity.
The initiative was inaugurated in the presence of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Dev, Koel, Yash, Rukmini, Tanusree, Birsa Dasgupta and Firad Hakim, the Minister of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs along with the OC of Chetla Police Station.
