Father and son stab man to death in New Usmanpur
A 30-year old man was stabbed to death by his colleague and his father at the latter’s house in North-East Delhi’s New Usmanpur area late Sunday night.
The police said the deceased was identified as Anil Kumar, adding that the two accused were detained.
Police said the murder took place late Sunday night when Chaman, the main accused, called Anil to his house in New Usmanpur. When Anil reached his house, Chaman and his father Durga Prasad allegedly stabbed him with a knife multiple times. The father-son duo, then, tried to flee but was stopped by neighbours. The neighbours, then, informed the police.
The police found Anil in a pool of blood. They took him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The police have informed his family about the death. The police have detained Chaman and his father.
Sources said until a fortnight ago, Anil, a contractor with the BSES, used to work under Chaman. But due to some differences, they parted ways. After a few days, the duo had an altercation when they met at a marriage function. Chaman allegedly was in no mood to let go the issue. A senior police official said a case has been registered against Chaman and his father under Section 302 of the IPC at the New Usmanpur police station.
