Extremely proud of my rags to riches story: Kangana
Kangana Ranaut says she is happy to have carved an unconventional career path in Bollywood as she completes 10 years in the industry today.
“I am extremely proud of my rags to riches story, it’s fun to be a misfit or an underdog if you acknowledge your gifts and befriend your obstacles,” said Kangana.
The top star now has films like Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, Hansal Mehta’s Simran and Rani Lakshmibai biopic by filmmaker Ketan Mehta. While she has enjoyed audience’s love for her fearless, bold nature in real life, it has also landed her in controveries, the latest being her fight with Hrithik Roshan where both the stars have slapped legal notices on each other.
Hrithik Roshan’s spokesperson has said that “vital facts” about his leaked “intimate” photograph with actress Kangana Ranaut, with whom he is locked in a bitter legal battle, have been “conveniently suppressed”.
Issues between the two actors surfaced when Kangana hinted at Hrithik being her “ex”, saying in an interview that she fails to understand “why exes do silly things to get your attention.
Now, Kangana’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee issued a statement on Wednesday evening, which said: “In any event we would like everyone to know that some common people have started intervening in the matter and want the matter to be resolved amicably. Therefore, to end the matter on a positive note we shall not be giving any further statement to the media on the said matter, as the same has also been assured from their side.”
“Peace is always the end objective, so let the media trial end on this note and let’s have the investigation begin in proper sense. We would get whole lot of answers when the imposter in this episode is caught,” said Hrithik’s spokesperson.
Hrithik’s ex wife Sussanne Khan came forward to support him, and she said that his image with Kangana is “photoshopped”.
